ABOUT MEGAN

Megan Perry is a former Division I college basketball player, turned sports executive, and broadcaster with nearly 15 years of experience in sports, media, and entertainment. Perry's professional journey is highlighted by a wide range of roles spanning across collegiate and professional basketball including time spent at the NBA, WNBA, CBS Sports Network, and most recently as the Vice President of Executive Engagement & Women’s Initiatives for the Sports Innovation Lab.

During her time at the NBA, as a member of the Team Marketing & Business Operations division, Perry consulted with NBA, WNBA, and G League executives to advise on team business development strategy.  From there, Perry joined the WNBA President’s Office and managed a variety of strategic planning operations including player communications, contracts, agent relations, basketball operations policies, and the international / domestic scouting program in preparation for WNBA Draft on ESPN. Additonally, Perry  was an integral part of optimizing the WNBA player experience for premiere league events (All-Star, Playoffs / Finals, etc), and the development of the WNBA Executive Player’s Committee which formed to amplify the player’s voice in the business planning process.

Beyond the boardroom, Perry is an on-air talent covering the NBA, as well as college basketball.  You can find her on Bally Sports,  CBS Sports Network, and ESPN, where she serves as a basketball analyst covering the Miami Heat as well as men’s and women’s college basketball. Perry also co-hosted The Ivy League’s “Road to Ivy Madness” and the Women of Color in Sports (WOCIS) “Her Journey” podcast.
